Let’s Burger Plus: Now open in Village North with burgers… plus

As a fan of pizzas and burgers, I felt I had no choice but to order one of the four “pizza burger” options at Let’s Burger Plus, which opened at noon today in Swire Village North. I ordered the chicken option (rmb88) which came with one half of the bun dressed like a pizza complete with cheese and the other half topped with garnishees, a good-sized tender chicken fillet, and coleslaw. Even with the two halves squished together, this is tough one to get your mouth around, and I made a proper mess. I enjoyed trying it with some of the more than a dozen sauces. By the way, if you are hesitant about coleslaw on pizza, you might want to keep the two sides separate, slice them, and share with friends. Also, the bun fell apart fairly quickly though management says they are fine-tuning the recipe. I’ll post again back after I try the beef pizza burger…
Let’s Burger Plus is in the lower level, across from Colibri, and has an airy upscale diner feel with an open kitchen. It seats ~40 inside, has several tables outside, and will open daily from 11:30 AM to 10 PM. Along with the burgers that made the original venue in Nali Patio popular, including The Original (rmb55) and the Let’s Burger made with Angus beef, prawns and salmon (rmb148), the menu includes the four pizza burgers (from rmb78), open sandwiches topped with poached eggs (from rmb98), beef, chicken, lamb, and tiger prawn pitas (from rmb78), and chicken, beef, and tuna croissants (rmb46). Sodas are rmb18, coffeee is rmb28 and up, juices are rmb29 and up, and wine and beer are rmb45 and rmb35 and up respectively.
