99 Degrees will officially open its terrace tonight, with free cocktails and BBQ, half-price single malts and music by nine-piece group The Crazy Bads. This two-floor venue is on top of the youth hostel behind the 3.3 Building and accessible via the same stairway that leads to By the Tree.
Tom Cui, known for projects such as Club 99 and Le Petit Gourmand, is one of the backers and has amassed a nice stock of whiskey. As for the glass-walled hot tub that I mentioned here, well, he says that will take a few more weeks.
