Back in the day, when I had a decent functioning camera and snapped photos like a maniac, I seemed to run into fellow Canadian “Sneaky” Pete Koveos all over town. Whether partaking in a weekly brainteaser, viewing a sporting activity or enjoying the culinary arts at establishments such as Luga’s Villa, The Stumble Inn (Lucky Street version) or the former Tim’s Texas Roadhouse, there be Pete.
I told Koveos that one day I would post those photos here and — with his approval — that day has come. And they are in the form of a collage, no less. And just ahead of the upcoming Canada Grade-Eh Week.
By the way, if you wonder about the photo of Koveos holding dish soap, that was taken around 2 AM, after one of his most excellent rooftop parties, when he had just come back from picking up supplies at the corner store to save his ayi the trouble the next morning. That’s Canadian politeness defined, eh?
Finally, the same pics, in another configuration, for your viewing pleasure.

Ahh. Sneaky’s rooftop parties. Something I miss all too much.
I always enjoyed Pete’s parties. Pete is a great guy, lots of fun.
Where’s a pic of him BBQ’ing some spam? Isnt that a national dish Boyce? I have to say, it tasted bloody awesome, even when i realised it was spam
