A bunch of Beijing restaurants with Canadian owners, managers or chefs will participate in Grade-Eh Week from June 25 to July 1 by featuring foods with a Canuck theme on their menus (more details here). One of these is Switch! Grill, which Adam Goodman says will have both food and drink options.

BB: What are your items for Canada Grade-Eh Week?

Goodman: Maple syrup-glazed ribs and a Caesar / Bloody Mary bar. [Caesar's by the glass during Grade-Eh Week,  by the pitcher on July 1, and at the dedicated bar during brunch on July 1.]

What is the one food / restaurant you miss most from Canada?

I miss super fresh seafood and a restaurant called COAST.

What is the one Chinese food / restaurant you like most in Beijing?

Ding Tai Fung dumplings! And the Golden Attic Tripod dim sum restaurant. [Huh? - Ed]

If you could bring any food or beverage franchise from British Columbia to China, what would it be?

Clamato and Alexander Keith’s beer.

If you opened a restaurant dedicated to Canadian food, what would you call it?

SWITCH! No, seriously, The Maple Beaver? Clamato’s?

Note: For Grade-Eh Week, Switch! Grill will have maple syrup-glazed ribs, with fries and broccolini, for rmb160. You can also get that as all-you-can-eat on Sunday, July 1, from 5 PM to 8 PM, for rmb120, along with buckets of five Moosehead beers at rmb100. Best to RSVP for that day: Switch’s number is 6553-5691. The address is 工体北路66号瑞士公寓2号楼1层 / west side of the Regentdate Center, directly behind Swissotel.
