Sanlitun summer of wine: Ole showing Euro 2012, transforming into Spanish wine bar

Guess who the team at Ole is cheering for?

~

Look for the first floor of Ole in Sanlitun South to fully transform into a Spanish wine bar over the next month even as it remains open and shows Euro 2012 games each night. By the way, two-for-one on Mahou when Spain plays, two-for-one on Tiger for all games, rmb100 all-you-can-guzzle draft beer from 10 PM to midnight, and a free shot when your team scores.

That’s a lot of beer, but you can expect wine to take over in a few weeks, says Yolanda Garval. Ole will have a particular focus on wines from Parxet, including a cava imported by Beijing-based DS Wines, she says, although the menu will include plenty of other Spanish options. Delivery of the wine is due this month and I’ll update when everything is ready.

Parxet points: soon to be filled with bottles...
