Little Britain, the newest watering hole in Lido, will officially open on Friday. night. Expect a menu that includes bangers and mash, fish and chips, burgers and English breakfast. A pint of Guinness is rmb50, with happy hours from 5 PM to 8 PM, Monday to Friday, and including a 20 percent discount on drinks.
Lido regular Beijing Elvis said the staff is “nice” and looking for feedback on the menu and prices. Apparently, the owner is from New Zealand.
You can find Little Britain kitty corner to Jenny Wang’s, close to Gung Ho Pizza and Cafe del Mar, and a short walk from The Irish Volunteer. Said Beijing Elvis: “For those of us who live in the area, it’s another alternative.”

Do they have a website? Have they finalised a menu? It is very far from us but we will make the trip if we had more info.
@ James,
According to Beijing Elvis, who sent in the photos, they do have a menu though they will likely to do some fine-tuning. I’ve posted all the info I have. Will post more after I visit.
Cheers, Boyce
@ James,
This afternoon I was shown the printed/laminated menu and the drink list at Little Britain. I don’t believe they have a website.
I was asked for my opinion about both the selection of dishes and the prices…and was told that the menu will change based on customer input.
The staff was very friendly and seemed interested in hearing my feedback. I wish them success as the Lido area needs more dining/bar options.
