Look for Temple Restaurant and Compass Box to join forces for a month of whisky starting on May 9. The venue will host a pair of events, including an evening of cocktails with bartender Frankie Zou. (I first met Zou at Maison Boulud years ago and hadn’t realized he now worked at Temple. The last time I saw him was at this Becherovka contest.) That event is May 11, from 9 PM to 11 PM, and is rmb188 per person. The other event is a dinner “enhanced with a touch of whisky”.
