Home Plate vs Hipsters: Adam Murray and His Smoker Are Bad-ass
~
Hipsters of Beijing, Adam Murray of Home Plate BBQ has a message for you: smoking kills. And he’s not talking about those organic tobacco cigarettes one puffs while displaying a beat poet-like gaze and/or a hat at a jaunty angle. He’s talking about what comes out his ‘hand-crafted’ smoker, which apparently is the six-sided BBQ equivalent of Arlo Woody Guthrie’s six-string guitar. Perhaps it is because hipsters lack the enzymes to process brisket, ribs and the like and/or perhaps they made one too many Texas jokes over the years. In either case, they have been warned.
