They say timing is everything so here are some photos from the iPad launch at the Apple store in Sanlitun Village… eleven days ago. Actually, the focus of this blog is bars so, some might ask, why am I posting about this? Because in three years of going to bars and restaurants in Sanlitun Village, I haven’t seen one punch thrown, yet an employee at Apple managed to get into a scuffle with at least one person outside the store. How come not one of those geeks managed to get even one photo or video of the ‘foreign’ Apple employee beating anyone up?
After the previous week’s incident where a foreign Apple employee was said to have hired a bunch of kids to fill out the queue and then wouldn’t pay them turned out to be false, I take this latest accusation with a grain of salt.

I agree! But I think the touts are even scarier.
I actually have seen a massive fight break out before at the Village. It was around 1 AM back in December (below the Stumble Inn). Key point — all Chinese people.
Say what you want about apple. Alcohol and the Chinese scare me.
