The mother of all quiz nights: Plus, an infused vodka question
There is a reason I don’t like to have a TV or Internet at home, why I don’t go to quiz nights, and why I don’t wear thong underwear. I am afraid they will become an addiction.
Case in point: I ended up at The Stumble Inn, on the CRI Babies team, for quiz night evening last (we tied for first and lost in sudden death), after doing the same at Danger Doyle’s (DJ “I perform best if I have five martinis by the third round” Chunky and I finished third), a week after I joined my first full quiz at the same place (we also finished third). Anyway, here is a quiz question:
What is the first infused vodka created by The Stumble Inn? (Answer below)
But of more relevance is that TUN will hold the mother of all quiz nights this Sunday, as the brains of patrons will be teased by six experts:
- Glenn Phelan: Danger Doyle’s
- Graham Forbes: Frank’s Place
- Karl Long: Paddy O’Shea’s and The Pomegranate
- Paul Eldon: The Bookworm
- Julian Fisher: Tim’s Texas Roadhouse
- Josh Lally: Lush
I don’t know what will be more interesting: the questions or the competitive nature of some of the quiz masters The event is at 7:30pm, organized by The Beijinger, and the drink specials include two-for-one Stella Artois and half-price Mojitos.
And the flavor of The Stumble Inn’s first infused vodka? Skittles
3 commentsPhotos: Super Bar Street countdown…
On Sunday, I set up camp in Tim’s Texas Roadhouse to blog live about Super Bar Street riding off into a smoggy sunset. I couldn’t get my photos to upload then, so here they are now.
By the way, Tim, of the aforementioned roadhouse, had his water and power cut today. And while some places are open, there are also quite a few “security “guards” on the street – enter the area at your own risk.
