NHL Playoffs: Catch Canucks games at The Irish Volunteer
A hard-core group of Vancouver Canucks fans has been meeting at The Irish Volunteer (map) to catch the team’s playoff series against the St. Louis Blues. The game is delivered via slingbox, and though the signal is choppy at times, it suffices. The place offers breakfast, sandwiches, and the like, as well as drip coffee and five kinds of draft beer. The next game is Wednesday morning at 8 AM.
The Goose and Duck (map) had been showing NHL games, but several readers told me the place had a problem with its slingbox last Saturday morning. I’ll provide an update on the situation as soon as I have more information.
