Massive German pub opening in China View
On Friday, I wrote about the massive “yet to be named” pub set to open in China View next week. I’m guessing it’s the one City Weekend refers to as “Drei Kronen 1308.” But I hope not, because that’s not exactly a catchy name.
“Hof” is used in South Korea to describe German-style beer halls. Borrow this word, add the most famous performer of Teutonic heritage, and we have a perfectly good name for this venue - “Hassel Hof.” We can refer to happy hour as Beerwatch.
In any case, here’s a photo I took while walking by. It shows the shiny brewing tanks and the scale of the place (there are three stories of balconies).
