Vincent Cafe: Good eats in 798

Vincent Cafe, in the 798 art district, offers a sizeable chicken Caesar salad (ample portions of chicken, bacon and flaked parmesan; just the right amount of sauce; 30 kuai) and tasty buckwheat crepes (egg and cheese; hot from the grill; 20 kuai). The Grace Chardonnay at 22 kuai per glass is worth a try. As my friend and lunch buddy O-Zone already knows, this is pleasant place to eat.

  1. Great food, with a limited but tasty menu, all made with the proper ingredients. We spent almost an hour wandering around Danshanzi last night, looking for the place. Why, oh why do they only put ‘Seasons Cafe’ and not the name that we all know it by: ‘Vincent Cafe’, on the signposts? No wonder we were the only people in there on a cold autumn night – just the right time for Fondue Savoyarde, but impossible to find!

  2. Hi Mark,

I agree they do a good job on the food, but if you’re not a 798 denizen, a bit tough to find. I hear it’s also very good as a caterer.

    Cheers, Boyce
