Go to Schindler’s (south gate, Ritan Park) and down a platter of grilled meat and spuds (85 kuai), accompanied by a steady supply of German draft (22-27 per pint). If you’re not a big eater, you’re best splitting a dish with a friend. Schindler’s offers solid fare and good brew in an atmosphere where being noisy seems mandatory. Lebe das guten Leben.
