The cheese was hand-carried in from Spain and matched up with five wines, also hailing from the land of the bullfight. Lo and behold, among them was Seven Springs Vineyard, the winery owned by the family of my co-worker Andrew MacDonald, in Oregon. (I wasn’t aware that state had been settled yet.)
